Strawberry, raspberry, orange and grapefruit smoothie

The grapefruit. A sour yellow orb that is as beloved as it is hated. And I love it. The wonderful sourness of the grapefruit provides the perfect juxtaposition to the delightfully intense and sweet taste of raspberries and strawberries making this strawberry raspberry orange and grapefruit smoothie something very special. And the health benefits aren’t bad either…Strawberries, raspberries, oranges and raspberries are all powerful detoxifiers, teaming up with the liver to flush out the toxins. But that’s not all. They are all also incredibly rich in vitamin C – which amongst other things helps to protect against immune system deficiencies, cardiovascular disease, prenatal health problems, eye disease, and even skin wrinkling.


  1. Place all the ingredients into the blender and process until smooth!
  2. I found I didn’t need to add any liquid and oranges have an especially high water content. But if you would like it a little thinner or even if you just want to stretch it, some almond milk works really well.


  • 1/2 cup strawberries
  • 1/2 cup raspberries
  • 1/2 orange
  • 1/4 grapefruit
