Green Burgers

Prep Time: 30 mins
  1. Blend all of the burger patty ingredients together and the fry then in a pan on a medium/high heat for about 5 minutes on one side and 1/2 minute on the other, until golden brown on both sides.
  2. Then assemble your burger however you like it. I’ve listed my favourite toppings above. Enjoy!

Ingredients

BURGER PATTIES:

  • 2 handfuls of kale
  • 125g gram flour
  • 300g lentils
  • 100g mushrooms (about 2 medium sized chestnut mushrooms)
  • 4 tbsp nutritional yeast
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

EXTRAS:

  • Bun
  • Gherkins
  • Vegan cheese
  • Red onion
  • Lettuce
  • Tomato
