
Ginger cinnamon lemon tea

Method
- Place the kettle on to boil and divide the ginger in between two cups.
- Place a pinch of cinnamon, and the juice of half a lemon each cup.
- Pour boiled water over and let sit for about 2 minutes.
- You may wish to filter or strain the tea but the chunks of ginger are good for you! If it tastes too strong, dilute it with more hot water.
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup water
- 1 inch ginger, peeled and thinly sliced (should make about 6 slices, give them a bit of a bash with a mortar or rolling pin)
- 1 lemon
- pinch of cinnamon
Optional (depending on your love of sweetness)
- 1tsp per cup of honey
