Carrot Cake Porridge

Serves: 1 Cooks In: 15 minutes
  1. Combine the oats, carrot, milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt and raisins in a pan on a medium heat.
  2. Cook until the porridge is at your desired consistency.
  3. Pour into a bowl, top with your desired toppings and then serve! Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • ½ cup (50g) oats
  • ½ a carrot, grated
  • 1 cup (230ml) any kind of milk (I used almond milk)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp nutmeg
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 heaped tbsp raisins (optional)

TOPPINGS

  • Yoghurt
  • Pumpkins seeds
  • Walnuts
  • Orange zest
  • Maple syrup
  • Blueberries
