A recipe for a healthy breakfast smoothie by nutritionist Jennifer Medhurst

Breakfast smoothie

Serves: 1 Cooks In: 5 mins

Place all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.


  • 1/3 cup oats
  • 1 tbsp flaxseeds
  • 1 kiwi, skin on if you like (take if off if you don’t)
  • 3 walnuts
  • 2 tbsp any kind of yoghurt you like
  • 1 cup any kind of milk, or to desired consistency
  • 1 handful of greens (I used kale), washed and stalks removed
